WELCOME TO TEQUILA 400—a fresh take on an age-old spirit from the founder behind a Double Gold winner at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The name honors the Centzon Totochtin, the 400 rabbits of Aztec myth—not a literal number, but a symbol of abundance and infinite expression. Legend holds that the first agave grew from the goddess Mayahuel, and from that sacrifice came a spirit tied to ritual, community, and the divine.
The inception was born during the pandemic and refined over time, every bottle carries decades of hard-won craft and a deep respect for the process.
To honor that legacy, we partnered with a Mexican artist to reimagine how tequila is made and how its story is told—because more than a bottle, Tequila 400 is a platform for the artists, creators, and authentic ideas we believe in.

PLATA
TEQUILA
A translucent silver ultra-premium tequila, smooth, double distilled, artisan-crafted and made from 100% estate- grown Blue Weber Agave in the Highlands of Jalisco, México. Its notes of sweet agave nectar and volcanic soil are heightened through minimal distillation in copper stills, a unique artisan method giving it a velvety, crisp finish.
AÑEJO
TEQUILA
A limited batch of our artisan tequila is aged for 18 months in charred white oak barrels. This amazing añejo tequila’s flavor, aroma and color come naturally from the characteristics of the charred oak.

Rooted in Aztec myth and refined through decades of craft, Tequila 400 is more than a spirit—it is a platform for the creators and authentic ideas that define our community. This is why we decided to begin from its inception using a local Mexican Artist and interpret the tequila making process in a story board.
We have teamed with an artist that is rooted into the culture in Mexico, as he was selected as the winner for the best muralist in Mexico. We believe that this is a segway into our ethos of expressing ourselves to something more than a liquid but with a platform. We will showcase this through storytelling and through our journey as we embark in a spirit made for the gods.

Tadeo Mendoza is a self-taught artist and architect whose workshop spans muralism, sculpture, art toys and street painting. His practice blends digital aesthetics with hand-crafted techniques, shaped by a fascination with nature, speculative futures, and urban memory. With bold use of color and form, he creates fantastical universes inhabited by dreamlike figures and playful structures. His recent work explores preservation of urban heritage in his hometown.
